ROM in groepstherapie

Steeds meer behandelingen in de GGZ worden tegenwoordig in psychotherapie groepen gegeven. De ontwikkelingen in ROM zijn echter vooral binnen individuele behandelingen en begeleiding. Een gemiste kans, vonden wij bij GGZ Noord-Holland-Noord. ROM zou in onze ogen juist bij groepstherapieën goed kunnen werken, want het is bij groepstherapie moeilijker om in te schatten wie voldoende baat heeft bij de behandeling. Vooral outcome tracking zou in groepen goed zijn: de behandelaar heeft dan per sessie zicht op welke cliënten vooruitgaan in de behandeling en welke cliënten niet goed vooruit gaan en kan daar de groepssessie desgewenst op bijstellen. Daarom zijn Marjolein de Vos en ik bezig met het ontwikkelen van ROM voor groepstherapie. In de onderstaande video wordt het project gepresenteerd voor potentiële financiers, maar ook inhoudelijk uit de doeken gedaan.

Dissertation Dissemination Webinar

On December 13, I presented my reserach in the  Society for Psychotherapy Research Dissertation Dissemination Webinars serie. The aim of the Dissertation Dissemination Webinars is to promote the dissemination of the research done by graduate students while obtaining their PhD. During the webinar, the (ex-) student presents his or her work to a wide audience. I presented my work on the risk models for negative outcomes and both the feedback studies that I performed. Prof. dr. Wolfgang Lutz (Universität Trier) discussed the research in its broader context in the field. Watch the webinar here:
